The Omron E2EY-X4C1 2M is a DC 3-wire NPN proximity sensor for aluminum, brass and other non-ferrous metals; it does not detect iron. The M18 unit has a 4 mm sensing distance and standard aluminum target of 18 × 18 × 1 mm. It operates from 12–24 V DC, includes a 2 m pre-wired cable and is rated IP67 with oil resistance.
